Erlend Clouston, long-term friend and literary executor of the Scottish poet and writer Nan Shepherd, talked intimately about his personal relationship with Nan on the 11 September 2018 at the Scottish Sculpture Workshop. The talk was introduced by Sam Trotman, Director of the Scottish Sculpture Workshop and Simone Kenyon, lead artist and choreographer on Into The Mountain.

The unique opportunity to hear from someone who knew Nan personally for 35 years contextualised her writing and gave an insight into circumstances that delayed publishing of her most widely-known text, The Living Mountain, for thirty years.
